- Rhythmic Light:
A baby's respiratory rate drops from 40 breaths per minute to 20 breaths when they fall asleep. The Dreammaker's rhythmic light mimics that relaxed, slow, and deep breathing rhythm, calming your baby and helping them fall asleep.

There is also a setting for adults, optimized between 6 and 10 breaths per minute, a rate that has beneficial effects on muscle relaxation and reducing blood pressure. Adjusting your breathing to these rhythmic lights can also help you relax and fall asleep.

- Red light:
The Dreammaker incorporates a red light, which stimulates the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone, signaling to the body that it's time to start relaxing.
Melatonin is a hormone that the body naturally produces in response to darkness, helping to regulate sleep cycles. Exposure to light can suppress melatonin secretion and delay the onset of sleep. However, several studies show that, compared to other lights (such as blue lights), exposure to red light hardly affects melatonin production.
