Peanut Returns and Cancellations Policy

The services available on the website www.peanut.pt Our processes are entirely focused on customer satisfaction. However, in case of customer dissatisfaction, the customer may return the item(s) within 14 business days of the purchase date, provided that the returned item(s) meet the following conditions:

1. Return of the item under the right of withdrawal.

Having purchased an item in www.peanut.pt You have 14 days to return the item, starting from the date of receipt, in accordance with your right of withdrawal. You may do so, provided the following conditions are met:

- Presentation of the product purchase invoice

The product must be returned in the same condition in which it was sold (unopened and in its original packaging, with no signs of opening or use).

2. Returns due to product exchange after shipment:

Returns due to "order exchanges" or "ordered product error" (and Peanut's responsibility) will be accepted up to 14 business days after the date the customer receives the order.

3. Returns of damaged products

The return of products damaged upon receipt by the customer, resulting for example from damage occurring during shipping and transport, is accepted up to 14 working days after the customer receives the order.

Returns of defective products are accepted up to 14 business days after the customer receives their order.

Returns are not accepted for products damaged as a result of faulty or misuse by the customer.

In the event of a defect or error attributable to Peanut, the applicable warranty legislation will be applied, subject to prior technical analysis.

All returns must be made by mail. Returns made through other channels are not accepted for any and all products purchased on the website. www.peanut.pt.


HOW TO RETURN?

The return must be made exclusively by sending the item(s) via registered mail with return receipt requested, and must be accompanied by:

  • Copy of the invoice
  • Indication of the reason for the return.
Returns that do not follow this procedure may not be accepted.

Shipping costs, logistics processing, administrative fees, and any charges associated with the return are entirely the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.


PRODUCTS EXCLUDED FROM THE RIGHT OF RETURN
Returns are not accepted for:
  • Light hygiene, food, or childcare products after opening.
  • Car seats after any attempted installation.
  • Assembled or functionally tested items
  • Personalized or custom-made items
  • Products that show evidence of use or handling beyond what is necessary to verify their nature and characteristics, resulting in a devaluation of the product.
  • Incomplete or damaged products due to customer error.


PRODUCTS DAMAGED IN RETURN TRANSPORT
The customer is responsible for the proper packaging and transport of returned items. Peanut is not responsible for any damage that occurs during return shipping.


CANCELLATION POLICY

Whenever a customer takes the initiative to cancel an order, and Peanut – Artigos de Puericultura, Lda is not responsible for the cancellation, a fee of 3% of the total order value will be charged to cover administrative costs and commissions related to the cancelled order.

 

REFUNDS

The refund will be processed within the maximum legal period of 14 days, after:
  • Physical receipt of items
  • Technical verification of their condition.
  • Confirmation that the return conditions have been met.
Peanut reserves the right to:
  • Suspend the refund until the analysis is complete.
  • Deduct amounts related to product depreciation.
  • Refuse refund if conditions are not met.
The speed of reimbursement depends on the issuing bank, and is a factor beyond our control.
